Microsurface = gloss or roughness map, check the tutorial linked above for more. Albedo is a very technically correct term, these days you should not be faking any lighting, provided you have decent shaders/lighting systems.
Its basically a touch menu system with short cuts and hotkeys that floats on the side of the screen, yet manages to get out of the way when you actually begin to draw/model/sculpt. Essentially it diminishes the need for a keyboard.
I love the look that this conveys, It gives off a really eerie feeling, especially with the single light source. How about throwing some sort of sound system into the mix? Possibly going down the horn speaker route?
Divinity Original Sin 2, although your work is likely to suffer for the time you will have spent playing it. Be sure to overshoot the system requirements if you can. There's a certain fight in the middle of the game with preposterous amounts of overdraw.
Finished the beacon fire asset and its interaction system. When you approach the beacon, a torch icon appears as a crosshair. Click it or press an action button to trigger the cinematic which shows the beacon in flames and ends the game.
Sounds like it's gone. You should use an incremental backup system, I've been saved many times by mine, when a file is suddenly corrupted. In fact, just yesterday, with a Max file. Saved a lot of rework!
MS really needs to find a new system for code redemtion. I've got a Kinect, why can't I use it to unlock items? Having to hunt and peck with a joystiq for four seperate codes is a pain in the ass. :P
Our PBR computation is identical, but the viewport system is different between Substance Painter and Substance Designer. The shadow feature is present only with Painter. To get a similar feature in Designer you have to switch to IRay instead of OpenGL.
Glad you got it sorted. I understand why .uassets are the way they are but I wish Epic came up with another system for better portability for situations like this, especially considering the frequency of their updates. Not that I'm complaining on that front. :)
