Hey Bob, welcome to Polycount. You can't link to images locally, upload them to imageshack or another image hosting site first, and this should have gone in Pimping & Previews, not General Discussion.
It doesn't load sometimes and you can't right click -> save image as which is valuable if someone likes your work, such as an employer (put your name/website on every image on your portfolio).
I'm not sure if this is the problem, but it's worth checking. See if the image is set to CMYK mode under the Image>Mode menu. Photoshop defaults to CMYK for new documents and that could cause the difference in color display.
Okay, I'll work more with lining up the face with the reference image. And Neox I will try that trick of using the movie and timeline trick. Aligning the images is always the best way to be dead on to the concept.

Wut? you have those video tutorials and this thread! I think its nice to see breakdowns of how you tackled that one pretty image than just a bunch of pretty images. :)
