haha yea, the funny thing about that line was that it wasn't even in the script. I think it was just an ad lib from Harrison Ford and it turned out to be one of the best movie lines ever.
3dsmax also has a handy rename tool, that lets you rename large groups of objects (Tools > Rename Objects) I'm sure Maya has something like this also, if not there is probably a script for it.
Sorry man, not possible. Work Path has to be active for it to be seen, which means it's also active for Free Transform, etc. There's no "lock" for Paths. You might be able to write a script or plugin for it though.
Sorry, I haven't read this entire thread (no time). Can someone give me the gist on 'mods' for this game? Full gameplay mods? TC's? Or is it more scripting, item, and clothing mods? (Trainers?)
CrazyButcher saves the day! That script works wonders. Lots of help everyone, I've forced myself to learn quite a bit trying all the different suggestions that everyone had. Thanks so much!
You can use unbevel script for the right one to properly collapsed it to its original volume, at least for max user or modo, but yeah generally I prefer the left one.
you could do this with an editor script for sure, but i'm not that familiar with setting that kind of thing up. I would be certainly interested aswell if someone had a ready made solution for this
Hey if you're interested in Houdini scripting/random generation there's a pretty nice presentation on Ghost Recon Wildlands here: http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1024708/-Ghost-Recon-Wildlands-Terrain
Since loops are all the rage these days, I looped up an old animation I was working on about a year ago. Nice break from scripting and blend trees, hah.
http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1115091&postcount=156 this is probably the best method I have seen. http://cghub.com/scripts/view/79/ << slideknit is available here
