Thanks all for the comments :) Started blocking in the face/ anatomy. Using Imogen Poots for ref, she's got a tough face... so I appreciate any feedback ^^ Next up will be finishing off the anatomy so I can start creating her clothing in MD!
yeh the metal headpeice could have slightly different metals/mats used, or even sum rubber just to break the monotone scheme, then agen it wud detract from the face soo yeh! great lookin face agen, keep up the low poly goodness!
I fixed it, I had some overlapping faces that I fixed, and after that the bake went smoothly, no weird stuff. I dont know personally why it would behave like that because of overlapping faces, but maybe someone can enlighten me. Cheers anyhow.
Anatomy progress update. Just starting on the face and ears. Ears need a lot and hands still need more shape. :3 After get the body down start on her armor. /O/ Have a lot of work to do with the face but where I am at currently.
I think his face may be protruding a bit far. As in, his face is a little too far forward. But from the front you can REALLY see the likeness! I'd say it's pretty spot on for the most part. Can't wait to see where you take this. :)
Changelog: Extrude Along Path is updated to version 1.1. - Now the extruded faces can be separated as an element of the selected object. In this case you can choose to cap or not the start holes, remaining after the extrusion. - You can use "Cap End: to cap or not the end faces.
Nice work, but her face doesn't feel much like Zelda, at least to me. Maybe you should check her Smash Bros, Twilight Princess and Hyrule Warriors model/screenshots to get some great face references. And thank you for the little tutorial!
Well, the most difficult part of the anime style is the face without a doubt. If you are serious about making this type of characters without a doubt you must sit down and and sculpt/retopo anime style faces whenever you can. Believe me you'll understand :)
Thanks everyone! to Kot_Leopold i agree with you! heres the ref i used she does have a normal face i found it weird also haha so thats why her face in mine isn't mega skinny but it should be i know haha.
They are a solid face i didnt cut out the brackets, unless you meant face of the bolts. In that case they ate beveled a couple times. Likewise thebarrel tips are beveled. I could cut it back if i had to. The texture only took me a couple of days.
