yeah, colors were the last step, was gettin pretty tired of it by then and chose the most common insect monster color scheme I could think of. Crits always very welcome :)
Current progress of sculpt taken a step back and developing the forms slowly first it is coming along and is starting to look simlar to my reference not sure about the head will need to work on that.
The timing on the cut is easily fixed. it is a bit too late. @Arturow, what kick down do you mean? In the regular steps or the bit before she climbs over the top?
Turning trackball off was a step in the right direction but this other development is making me WANT to have a heart attack. Does this camera know what a pivot is? Can I teach it?
while presenting a single asset like this is pretty cool, i'd suggest taking it a step further... Model out the scabbard, and place them on a desk of some sort, frame the piece.
What WeatherMan said. Also I would twist with the hips slightly before the upper body. Also the right foot slides a bit. It may look better as a slight step?
Right. So I'm pretty satisfied with the progress. Right now it's mostly dynamesh and general shapes. Next step would be to clean the model up and add some bells and whistles.
Your stepping stones have massive seams in the UVW unwrap. Perhaps try Pelt unwrapping them, and hiding all the seams at the bottom of them. Pelt Unwrapping is great for beginners.
