Strangely enough a LOT of developers in the industry have this dilemma. Most of us went the game route because we wanted a more steady paycheck (but it's just as competitive). No joke, a LOT of artists (even here on polycount) are semi-virtuoso guitarists blazing through Satriani/Malmsteen solos note-for-note. -

I've never played an MMO b4, but couldn't they just create a "living" world that can be played online in solo? basically check-boxing out or limiting the amount of social interaction? The stuff they talk about in the vid doesn't really relate to the MMO aspect of the game, just of the dynamic, global quality of it -

I've been following along with this and I'm impressed with your progress since the original concept. As far as the holo screen goes, I could barely even tell there was any flickering going on. I would make that a bit more prominent and maybe even have it cut out for a split second. -

Yeah, got my old mouse working again and did some more work on the pilot console: Have to add some holo projection devices for the main screen and the two side screen. Will also add some panel lines on the side parts with normal painting. -

Bjork , sigur ros, Radiohead, Thom Yorke's solo album, Tool, some Ol' Wu-Tang, anything produced by Muggs or the Rza. And been diggin on some late 80's early 90's hip hop lately. Back when the shit was good. -
