I'd love to hear how you did the wind on your vegetation? SpeedTree or Vertex Offsetting? If it's vertex offsetting, can you share the techniques you used? <3
Looking quite good already! I would suggest maybe adding a little more color variation on the diffuse for the vegetation maybe, and perhaps even more saturation too.
How many individual plants, trees, "vegetation pieces" are in a scene like this? They seem uncountable! I love your work and I think you are my favorite artist.
Hey guys, this is an environment I'm working on. The purpose was to make a omposition and light study. I'm planning to add vegetation later on. I'd be glad to know what you think and what I can improve. Bram
I've mainly done props so far and now I want to learn vegetation! Any critique or tips welcome! The pot is mainly a framing device, so don't mind the hasty work there.
Creating Grass and Vegetation For Video Games from Jason Stokes / FuturePoly is a good rundown of the process. More: http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/GrassTechnique http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Foliage
Loving this dude, really awesome work. The added vegetation is really contrasting with the sci-fi architecture (which is cool as hell) I all works together really nicely!
