i thought that they were on the upswing when they realized that they couldn't make the best games, and so went out and started getting other devs to make their games for them. Ala KotoR and the Lego games. Guess not. :( -

Wow, okay. It's been a long time without posting. I've been pretty busy with school, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on my art. Don't make the entire building out of one mesh and one texture. Use tiling textures to make wallpieces and roof blocks and then combine them in-engine like legos. Sort of like this: -

Ditto. I think a lot of us 3D artists were mad with something like lego and building stuff with toys when we were kids. We're just not "growing up". -

I'm really enjoying Killzone: Shadowfall, i've not played any of the other Killzones (although i might, now). And it's sooo pretty! excellent job to all who worked on it! Lego Marvel, lots of fun too :D -

Right but i was aiming the comment more at the fact that you dont need to merge the verticies or do UVs after you make the pieces, just make your single lego piece, texture it, the instance it throughout the scene. -

The 'traveller book', and old sci-fi role playing game I remember from my youth (with an illustration by Mr Jaquays! Space crusade board game.. I need to buy more lego - it's dirt cheap.
