SP converts from one workflow to the other automatically on export if you choose to export those maps (remember to pick the maps from the box in the right if you make a custom preset, those are the converted ones). So you can work in one workflow and then export to the other.
Just finished the SP campaign... man that was awesome. Tried out the Deniable Ops solo and man that's fun, actually want to try it at a harder difficulty than normal. I'm kinda irked with Ubisoft's Uplay system, as it keeps disconnecting before I can unlock the "Infiltration" mode.
Hey, been a while since I updated my thread... Finished and released 3 skins in the meantime and here they are: 1. The most recent: Five-Seven | Celtic Wyvern which is an old school effort for me with 95% of it being handpainted in Photoshop instead of using Substance Painter. Really enjoyed classic brush work and it was…
i just start doodling and it's more of a day dream rather than a preconceived concept. i wish i was that cool. this doesn't fit anywhere else.. sp study using the oil brushes in painter9. it's pretty sucky imo. grrr. i hate this rut i'm in!

I’m a final-year student, researching the realities of augmented AI tools in optimising UE5 shader pipelines for large scale projects, specifically AAA scale. It’s the last home stretch towards submitting, and it’s important to me for everyone to have their say in; “Are you…
I have a two problems with normal maps on my model. 1st: outside Substance Painter there are seams visible. Inside Substance Painter: Outside SP (UE5/Blender/Marmoset) (please don't mind different albedo colors): It's the same in marmoset and Blender... What i've tried: - Flipping green channel, flipping red channel and…
Neat idea, I love warped visuals like this! Reminds me a bit of that scene in Inception where they warped Paris. I think the metallic character detracts from the scene, because it’s in a t-pose, which isn’t a visually interesting shape. The concept has a twisted pose that’s more evocative. You’ve also repeated the…
dont claim it to be wasted just call it contingecy (sp) for later revisions and additions depends on the forms being use though tbh and as long as you can get the most texel density for the forms, with the space you end up using, I wouldn't call it a bad thing. pixels aint nothin but a number.
