As a first step, you should remove all the assets on your portfolio that do not talk about character art. The non-relevant art can be moved to another portfolio website.

As a first baby step, just try breaking down the ship components like you would a plastic toy model. That may help you to separate what is tileable and what is not.
I posed Jack into "Pose #4" and sculpted the hands. Hope you like it (or don't like it) and give feedback. :) Next step is finalizing the clothes and add an extra pass on the face.
Hey guys. I made few more spikes and combined them into the rock, just for test. And I think, that most of the highpoly parts are done. Next step is lowpoly and baking.
fixed the skin now. not sure how i feel about the face, not enough detail is coming through. might rework it. next step will be hair and then add the glowing effects to the cape.

well you gotta start somewhere :) just start drawing humans and dont think about it so much, hey if it helps, draw dragon people as a stepping stone :p
