When I first saw the first 3ds max screen capture, I wasn't expecting this when it was finished! It looks great. You really captured the Invader Zim style. Keep it up.
If you're a fan then it's worth seeing on the big screen. It's Simpson's FUN on a grand scale..that's all. If you're not a fan, why post? It's not meant to be some Epic Spielbergian accomplishment...just a gotdam cartoon. Sheesh!
So im assuming you used the same texture for each of the weapons? this is great if you are trying to get an insane amount of objects/enemies/events on screen at any one time, but is painfully obvious.
Software displays it fine automatically for me, but it has it's own visual artifacts that renders it useless. As the objects moves out of screen space, it starts warping the UVs, so that isn't really helpful :P
You'd be better off screen grabbing straight from your 3d application for crit purposes, rather than using that grainy GI business. A closer shot of the face would also be useful.
Well with OLED on the near horizon I would say that thin large curved screens like this aren't that far behind. But OLED is pretty pricey right now from what I hear.
Welcome to the environment artist club. The character artists don't know, but we environment people got a secret clubhouse with split screen Perfect Dark and Golden Eye, plus our moms bring us snacks.
Skinned and unskinned meshes are a very different prospect on an iphone4. Realistically you're looking more along rhe lines of 6-7k if you want them to be a decent size on screen, have a decent rig and nice shaders.
Screens of your unwrap process would have been more useful :) I don't doubt i'm slightly retarded but i still don't see it. If your process isn't strictly doable in Max, there's maybe a workaround.
Nice, love the slide at the end. The cut to over the shoulder is a bit jarring. I think it's because she is favouring the right side of the screen at first and then when it cuts, she is on the left side. Other than that, great work!
