You know... I'd make games with the A-Team. Sure! Even if I was the only real developer, I feel like having four badass mercs could have some legitimately practical benefits within the industry.
At our small studio we just decided to go practical about it, and use blender until either it reached some limit, or the workflow got too slow. So far I'm happy to be using blender :D
My god this is so cool. Really dig how you're doing practices and organizing everything before diving in. Best of luck gir, you're killing it so far! Thanks for the freebies, keep us updated! :D
Yeah it was supposed to be cased in glass, I'll work on that. I'm rendering with mental ray in maya. Yes I do need to practice more PBR but I thought I needed to get the fundamentals of DNS down first.
I wonder why everyone seems so concerned with texel density. And what's wrong with eyeballing it? If it's shader layers depending on a single UV channel isn't it be more practical to just have one more UV channel?
Nice mate! I really like that you have enough endurance for practicing and keeping yourself ispired to do it almost every day! I wish I could do that :) Great stuff, keep them coming!
Yup, I check that out, but is it really practical? A lot of these seem to be very small and don't offer space for 2 monitors, mouse, keyboard and tablet. But that's the reason I wanted to ask if anybody has experience with that kind of thing.
Practice beam. Trying to get cleaner edges on the grooves and slashes. Any tips or brush suggestions would be appreciated. I mainly used the trim dynamic, orb crack and clay build up brushes so far.
Lots of Ps work this morning. I did a quick hair study to see if I wanted it up or down. Im also shit at hair so this was good practice. There are also some close ups of the head as well.
Just build stuff as practice, man. I'll be sure to give notch a high five when he stops by this coming week. Him and his team made out like bandits with all them awards this week.
