Judging by the gradients in the normal map it looks like you have no smoothing groups set up and are baking with one smoothing group. The error that is showing up could be a projection issue and you might need more geo to solve it. Could you post a picture of your lowpoly without wires, lowpoly poly with wires, and…
thanks guys. SimonT: your right there are a few errors and i need to rebake some of it. These blemishes will be corrected when I polish it at the end. Here's my first pass diffuse map (basic colors and a few scratches). I'm using the laurens corijn realtime direct X shader. There is no proper spec map or cube map yet.
creators: andumy + me project: iceshard cleaver (tusk) started working on this already since 3 days so we are already nearly finished :) still there are some errors here and there so it might need a little more before we finish :) and another project that just started: creators: godzy + me project: snowman ward concept:
Just finished baking it. Came out pretty well, there's a few errors if you look closely but nothing major I think. Still need to clean up the AO a bit though. I forgot my tablet at work so i'll probably take a break tomorrow and start texturing it on monday. Crits/comments always appreciated! :)
Really? last nights? i updated it... then it gave me an error that i lost connection.... and then when i tried to update again it told me i had the right update at the end. So i dunno whats up. This morning i booted it up again and played like an hr of Last of Us, so no issues on mine.
Tackar (: After some serialz head scratching and trail and error with zbrush and dynamics, as far as placing stones goes, i've a start for the stones. I'm thinking of applying dynamics to them now to just get them to get into place better. And then fill up the gaps with a smaller low res stone, with dynamics. But i don't…
This looks wonderful. I can't really tell what the shadow error is. Can you circle it, or provide a closeup? Yes, more resolution will usually help fix shadow jaggies, but you have to be careful of the download and memory costs. Sometimes though you just have to live with some crappiness when running on limited hardware.
Looks good! Some graphical errors. Hanging upside down, the shadows on her looked pixelated. and I noticed some foot sliding here and there. but over all. looks fantastic. But ya. with the earlier trailers showing lots of QTE's, and from that trailer, it looks like the game may suffer a bit from lack of control /…
Hey, thanks everyone... I (think) I have corrected those errors lol... AND I have done more back :) . I am not sure about the proportions/curve of the spine; but I will change all that when I have done the rest of the links... Have a feeling this is gonna take aaaages haha Crits appreciated
not sure what you mean by do nothing function? if you want it to not error out just use some if and else statements to check for the existence of the modifiers first. like IF modifer exists do stuff, ELSE print warning and move on. and like MrOneTwo said in almost all languages = is generally for setting a value or…
