hey, is it possible to make a wild chase kinda scene. was thinking of an old man chasing after an alien in an oldpersonmobile, with a stick; where the alien in turn is terrifiedly running away, shooting behind himself with a gun. would that be possible, or would it have to be a face to face kinda scene..? thanks;)
Not a massive fan of the face to be honest. Look at making her less gaunt. She does have that bitchy Russian ex-KGB sorta look going, but I recommend building upon her masseter or cheek area. Just to give it that sorta width that is in the original Tracer face.
Moving onto the third character, will be returning to this one to polish along with the drummer and the rest near the end. Starting the hologram Lead singer, Mainly focused on getting a anime style face, and poly painted the face a little. Also testing out a hair style, which might change.
@StephenVyas I liked the face too, but i thought i was going pretty face crazy with most of the concepts, so i tried to tone that down. maybe next time. So here is the updated concept and shield mesh with base textures. The Warchief demands C&C!
3d scanning + Hyper real face animation + skin shading. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d1ZOYU4gpo"]GTC 2013: Face Works[/ame] on an unrelated note, hopefully some time in future they will figure out how to add 8-bit alpha blending properly.
She's looking a liiiiiittle sunburned on the face. I'd pull the redness back a bit, and try to pull some of the same highlighting you've used on her chest, onto her forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. really pull attention to what is otherwise a very flat looking face.
I don't think that's a single face, I can show you the wireframe. Edit: Normals don't seem to be flipped, else these selected faces would show up in a darker red, from what I know. It looks the same on both sides. Wireframe view on the side:
I figured this out on the elevator shaft. I took the edges on the outer front opening and extruded them to create a front face. Then I extruded the outer edges of that front face backwards to create the sides of the shell. Lastly I used Mays fill hole to fill in the back.
That depends on the platform and on the game. A handy game car could have 50.000 faces and a PS4 car can have up to 1million in the showroom. Gameplay cars on PS4 are around 250.000 faces. Character on the PS4 are up to 80.000 and more. Lowpoly is everything viewable in realtime in a Game Engine.
I'll give those a try but will also be curious to see how well the k2 does with Brekel face - the first kinect was awful w/ face detection so I'll see how it goes. The Mod was for the cable to hook into the PC (k2 for xbox one - the old kinect plugs in as is).
