Alien craft are coming along, I just have a few things i need to change with them then i should be happy. Here is a modular turret I'm putting together to replace those red blocks.
@ S_ource: thanks! I agree about the decals. Gonna see if I can replace it with a better one. @ xK1NGxOFxSKAx: The only things ive baked so far are the barrels and barrels pressers. :) Thanks for the comments and feedback!
well...then it might have to do with the lightmaps resolution, the texture compression, the LOD settings or even the BSP brush... I usually replace my brush with mesh so i am a bit lost here sorry !
I know its not the correct solution, but for a few of the modular pieces in space madness we solved the weird specular not matching up by replacing the specular texture with the diffuse texture. lol super hacky fix but it worked.
Froyok: the hands look small in the pose, probably because of bad skinning/bone placement or something like that. I've replaced the wire image with her neutral pose where the hands look the way they're supposed to :)
wow just wow, was wondering when they would finally get a replacement for maxScript. might actully work on max tools too now, since MS makes me want rip my hair out.
That screen corruption is almost certainly the GPU. A Geforce 960 or 1050 would be a good replacement, and shouldn't cost more then about $80-120. 2500k and 8GB RAM is still perfectly fine for a basic gaming PC.
In the earlier beta, there were companion scrolls you could use. They were little snakes and what not, that would collect all the nearby gold for you. Are those still in the game? or was it replaced by the gold pickup distance thing
Start layout completed assets in Unreal Engine 4. I replaced the low poly ground with UE4's landscape tools. Also used the Track Generator tool to create the walk path with collision boundary.
