I think he has to be pretentious if he wants people to pay what he's asking for these!! I just want one to sniff, I bet they smell fantastic - just like small change.
i just finished watching, finally there it was :D i really enjoyed this show, great characters, great fun and good morale too. the chick riding the all-smelling beast was cool too :P.
I've worked with a concept artist and a material artist who have the same condition and they both seem to get on fine - I think i only found out cos the subject came up in conversation at the pub both times. If people sign your work off it's not causing you any problems is it..? You should be able to trial the enchroma…
So i have been working on some thing and forgot to add one UV shell. Went back and added the missing UV and rearranged rest of the uvs a bit. I projected it back and now I'm getting this wired on mesh 1 and 2. Is there a way to fix it?
Always wanted to make this knife. Heavy use of the Bend and Twist modifiers in 3DS Max helped. The blade and handle we modeled straight and then UV'd. With the twist modifier applied afterwards so the UV shells remained straight and clean. Many more renders on my Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/d09XrX
Quick update. Currently working on the yellow shell, and the cable and buttons are done. I have blocked out the rest of the materials just so I have a better idea of how everything looks together.
Personal opinion, but I think it's ok that the lighting is rather green atm. Once you add warm lights in the foreground spilling from the buildings it will generate a nice warm/cold foreground to background effect.
Dropped the redness, maybe still too red?..idk looks a bit sickly at the moment.. Armor material is just a quick bash in ddo atm. Trying to get the skin and fur shells looking nice.
I got the rest of the pieces in, though I places them by hand since I couldn't center them, so they might not be perfectly aligned with the central horizontal line of the shell. Not sure how to fix that
Shouldn't a company valued at 19 billion dollars shell out a little more than the chance to win ONE iPad? Seems a little exploitative to expect artists to fill up their Lens gallery for free.
