Unfortunately, I have not managed to cover the aspect of placing the foliage in the 3dmotive tutorial. The general idea for getting fairly decent placement of vegetation is to try and group the foliage in a ramp-like shape. What I mean by that is that you start with the largest objects and then add smaller objects around… -

Looking cool Wayne. One thing about paint too is its tendency to dry up and flake off especially in the presence of rust. There's alot of metal in this scene and not a whole lot of rust. Thanks everybody! Maul0r: I used Citadel Miniature paints, which tbh, aren't the greatest and I probably won't use them again (unless I'm too lazy to find new ones). Their colour just isn't very vibrant. The stuff's not likely to rub off because it's sprayed with satin varnish and then had gloss varnish in the shiny parts.… -

Maybe try to set your diffuse color to a gray value rather than a white one. Also I recommend to set the material opacity to 99% in order to have the alpha channel applied :)
