that quote proves to me that the movie is "batteries not included" mostly because i saw that scene with my parents and when that scene came up they suddenly got awkward and tried not to laugh
Only just started this scene, so it still needs many more props etc, but any and all crits welcome, I have a few of my own concerns so I'll be curious to see if they match what you guys think. The scene is running in UDK.
A WIP of a scene I made based off of a concept by Yoga Satyadana. The idea was to take the original scene and add story by showing a creature that came from under the ice, bringing a maelstrom of day ruining inconvenience. Crit of things to change, or ideas to improve are welcomed.
@ImsumDave thanks for the report, could you email support@marmoset.co with a copy of this scene so we can debug this problem? The easiest way to do this is to go to File > Export > Scene Bundle
It's been while, but I finally got a chance to start working on the scene again. I've finished up some of the modular pieces and started testing some of the lighting and materials in my scene.
This turned out really good. But as @dorodo pointed out, the carpet is in my opinion still not 100% there as the rest of the scene. the scene it looks amazing, so great job on finishing it all up.
Honestly - that sounds like it would be almost impossible technically, considering all the steps you already tried... Could you post the scene in question ? Or another scene which shows the problem ?
The environment is designed to work with modular modeling, I outlined the role of the environment as imagined, imagined how the modules would be assembled and then the scene was like playing lego. modular modeling Scene complete:
