Day 3 Was just playing around with a Cylinder. One thing lead to another, and I just kept complicating the mesh and some how I got something that resembles a hat. Also managed to learn Edge extend which I will take as a win.
Really good job Gauntlet, nice work on the Uv's. I read that the technical quality is a factor for the judging. Until yours I forgot that we could do non-armor-like helmets. Remember that the hat must identify the class from distance.
Oh my god! Even though I'm totally against bringing digusting babies into this cruel world, way to go! At least I know the baby's head will be warm to to Tins' baby hat making skills. And remember to name it after the 3D guy.
we've been madly playing the beta at work and it ROCKS! Tons of fun and very well executed game, hats off to Relic. Theyre being great about balancing and patching too, so i think this one is bound to stick around for a while.
Hey all, figured I'd jump in on this. I haven't done many challenges, and there's already some great work being done, but I figured I'd toss my hat into the mix. This is a couple hours of work today blocking the proportions and some of the key clothing/pieces.
Is she magic because her hat is floating above her hair that is floating above her head? I would suggest gathering other reference to help... shape your concept. I also like how you labelled it concept art - very organized.
moved on to the tentacles. i dont think ill be dynameshing/attaching them to the head since they'll probably be covered by the hat, and ill probably want to play around with the position of them a lot. first pass id say is midly successful at these, but im always open to critique :)
EGX: man.. I can actually see that look being fun for an art game. I'll also throw my hat in the ring of Ivy's boobs going overboard. I dig Ivy as a character and weapon fighting style, but dear lord, put the sexy back.
Can't believe I missed this, i feel so ashamed pior! Lovely, lovely model, love it how your style keeps up even in such a environment and model. hats of to ya. Anyway, dude, why you never on msn anymore? I misses yous!
They look all right, but I remember the guy in the gray shirt from an earlier post. He might look like a cowboy at first glance, but there are details about him that are distinctly un-cowboy-like. Like the steel-capped boots, and the Indiana Jones hat. /jzero
