Ahh, finished not really what I was going for, looks cruddy. Nevertheless, a good experience. House, barrel, and crate by me. The nice looking props are of course Epic/UDK models.
Nice! Liking the colors of the foliage and ground. I feel that the background (planet and space) can be more 'epic'. It feels "too" generic. Perhaps you can give some love?
Thanks! I'd love to do an epic diorama like you see in the Codices. Was thinking of doing Swooping Hawks vs a bunch of these guys (since everyone allllways does marines)
One of the nice things about UDK is that you can see some of the meshes made by Epic for the engine. So there's lots of great examples of how things should be done for that engine.
I like the new direction you're taking. Looks more epic. The contrast in scale is really nice. Now, try to keep the crashed ship the focal point of the scene. Cheers!
You might also want to ask epic directly on the udk forums or maybe an email. While polycount is pretty tech savvy this is fairly specific and low level compared to the n
Regardless of the engine's capabilities that both have...you have to consider Epic's support for prommoting games has been really good since i rememeber, specially now with UE4.
I thought it looked epic. However I'm always dubious of gameplay footage at this stage. I doubt very much that it was running on the machine that we will have in our living rooms.
lol, Anyways on topic. Even though this approach have been used and abused by Nintendo since "Super Nintendo." <.< I'd say this move will be epic in Ps3. *cough*ripoff*cough*
