Think cgsociety has what you are looking for curzed. Though Digital Tutors (where i'm learning myself atm) also has a great system + certificates. You could always take a look at the "tour".
Maybe look at something like the FN F2000 for ideas. I think the most unqiue thing about the p90 is how compact it is due to the top loading system. http://www.fnherstal.com/typo3temp/pics/a417e702b9.jpg
Is modo's normal tangent basis synced to any engines? There's still no cage type system in either right? Are you guys who use modo exporting to xNormal or something similar to do the rest of the baking setup?
Hopefully having it right before "next gen system e3" wont cut out a lot of people who will be crunching on making e3 deadlines from the contest. I want to see a ton of people compete!
Do your sclupting with Zbrush, Texture in Mudbox or Mari. Hopefully one day Zbursh will sort out there texturing, it really needs a layering system and they need to sort out that crazy flip texture legacy issue.
It was transformation Thursday. Increased the resolution and started the tweaking. I wish I had less drama to utilize time for art including my 3D models, but at least I got something out of my system.
Oh man, that new lighting system looks amazing! Enlighten has been the single biggest pain in moving from 4 to 5, this looks to be bridging the gap. Those render times alone make it worthwhile

I think Goldeneye on N64 had the best blend in that you needed to do specific achievements in order to unlock specific cheat codes to use in game. We could use more innovative systems like that.
Yes we need a shame meter or badge system, preferably hooked up to some kind of electroshock device. No trophies or stars for doing good. But you get shame and a shock for not competing or entering and not finishing. =P
