Actually already did something about the spikes. Changed the spikes to be neutral. Now got to ask, by overlay cour cavity is that the name of a material or smart material i could use and by edges to mean all the edges. Here is how the changes for the spike made
I'm not worried. Even if it passed through Congress, the President has already said he'll veto it. Checks and balances 4TW, etc. http://thehill.com/blogs/hillicon-valley/technology/192349-obama-threatens-to-veto-resolution-repealing-net-neutrality-rules
Mmmm I want it to make the walls and floor simple to highlight the other elements like the plants and the colored lights, but maybe I was too simple  I'll try to add a little bit of variation, maybe some moss, sand, little rocks...
Hey black objects against a black backdrop is not a good idea, try something more neutral like a mid value desaturated gray with a hint of blue to make your red pop out more. mystichobo I like that chunky style for the tank :)
Thanks a lot Man, So those winkles doesn't show up in the expression only, but some of them you have also when neutral if it is a little older. I'll try to add the one you said also and make them stronger
The background really doesn't add much - it's just sort of there with an odd noise texture. The lack of a ground is also a bit odd. Perhaps a more neutral gray background with a gradient would be better, or a simple dirt/mud texture ground with a blurred aircraft background.
Thanks for the responses guys, out of curiosity though using the neutral standing pose with arms at the characters sides would that cause issues with shoulder deformation when the arms are raised? Since geo streches more convincingly than it compresses? Or is that mostly a topology issue?
Thanks for pointing that out @ChrisFraser. The environment in Substance Painter adds more green, below is a render with a neutral lighting. They're still a little too green, whereas I'm trying to make them a fall gold colour. I'll make some adjustments.
Sorry to borrow this thread, but Is it possible to get hired as a character modeler if I can only sculpt people in a neutral expression on an a-pose or t-pose? Do I need to create expressions too? Is knowing texturing a must? do I have to have knowledge in unreal engine too? Thx
Looks great, it really came alive when you added the weird brown wall tiles. The lighting is also good, there is a drastic shift in recognizability between these new yellow-tinted renders and the old neutral-white renders. Are you planning to make it a playable scene that you can walk around in?
