oh my gosh!!! I textured and figured out importing and everything and it's just so great to see my item in game!!!!! I have to go back over the textures and things again but it looks really cool to me right now! this is so much fun, definitely going to make this a hobby
you're probably right... found a vid showing how to make a desert in about 15 mins and was just going to put a character and a couple of vehicles... but like i say it's been a long slow learning curve so its probably going to be rubbish! :D it'll make for a fun hobby at least!
A curriculum vitae from other countries can be so much more comprehensive and personal than a resume in America. A photo, and even hobbies and interests can be included. It was quite surprising to come across those international applicants as a hiring manager in America! Sometimes it really felt like "too much information!"
[ QUOTE ] From what I see, a large part of the gamingindustry must be on lost of different things , at least the developers [/ QUOTE ] I think that goes for all creators in the entertainment industry. Take for example the writer for the old "Alf" series. He had a 10.000$ paycheck each week but an 11.000$ hobby(drugs).
Hope I'm doing this right, new to polycount. I'm looking for feedback in general. Criticism is worth more to me than a silent upvote. I am a web-developer, and I do graphics as a hobby. I thought I'd try my hand at CS:GO. I'm not gonna post all of them, if you want to see the rest you can click here.
It didnt take much; I already have one. I've worked with some previously so I had a good idea what to expect. I felt it would come in handy for a few hobbies old and new, so I snagged one along with a small vacuum-form and some mold making kits.
Thnx carter. Only found sites like blendernation so far so this really helps. Not to say anything bad about blendernation btw. Just feels like it's more towards the hobby users. Bookmarked cgcookie and going to take a look at that dvd. It's mostly the transition that i need so that would help a lot :) .
Wow thank you a lot cman2k! This is actually the first time I heard that you can have a 2nd UV and I didn't even know there was a polycount wiki ><;; I just do this as a hobby but I love it so much I just want to learn more about it. Again Thank you :D
I would like to join, I have many questions on modeling and what not, I just started it not long ago as a bit of a hobby but I now realize its what I've wanted to do all along, though I don't have anyone to ask for help and stuff, so this will help me greatly.
Since animating is your professional job, see if you can start a new more physical hobby. I enjoy playing soccer while I'm in a rut/burnt out, and its a fun as well. If you are in a studio, see if you can gather a few people around to go to a field nearby and have a kick.
