Nice concept - could make for a cool looking effect when animated, if all those angular shapes sort've grow into existence and then shrink the same way, like crystals taking shape at super-high speeds.

damn dude that looks awesome, great job! The only thing that comes off a bit distracting is the small red crystals. I'd say just keep the chunkier ones. Nice lense flare hehe :D
Thanks Brullox! :) yeah i was worried about that myself. Especially where the spider leg on her back intersects with the crystal abdomen of the spider. gonna need to maybe dull the colours a bit. :) thanks for the compliments! :D
The staff is magical as opposed to mechanically powered - my idea was that the "crystal" embedded in the top is the source of its flying ability. I'll add some rune designs too when i get to the final texture pass.
