Yes, I fidget and I'm proud! I'm performing a drum solo with my feet as I type. I found an article saying fidgeters burn 100-800 more calories per day than non fidgeters, just by fidgeting. Then I go on to find that fidgeting helps children learn better as well!
My idea so far is a captain's chair in a spaceship overlooking a planet. To be honest that's all I have so far. Really excited to get under way and get to know substance designer and painter. This will be my first big project solo, so I'm amped up to get started.
Yooo this just popped up on my ArtStation feed, great job!!! Would it be possible to see your metal channel? Do you keep metalness on or off for your rust? I'd also be pumped if you would show off your roughness channel as well. You killed it!
@JacqueChoi Do you think he needs to spend time at either school to get to that point where he spits Blizzard style without thinking about it? I almost want to say to just stay home and solo study given the quality of his portfolio right now.
For the sake of completeness, if you somehow decide that you'd rather be making 2D games, here are a couple of beginner friendly engines: Yoyo Games - Game Maker (Pro version is going from $25 up to $40 at the end of the month) Scirra Construct EDIT: Stencyl - Make flash games.
Indeed inspired by Event Horizon and Dead Space. I have been moving some things around to get a better overall composition. I have added a new pressure lock door, placeholder pillar supports to frame the 1st shot, and some holo-screens for the observation catwalk.
Sooo... can you play with anyone? or does it have to be someone in your friends list? i usually play in the morning and i notice that the game gets really hard to solo... its fun... but i think they were designed for co op right away. I like it tho.
Hi ! This is where I am now. I will not have enough time to draw this week so I think I'll clean the colo and then it will be finished ! If someone thinks I can improve it before the end of the contest, I'd really love to hear some tips :) Thanks and GL&HF !
Not too sure if you really need to expand it much if at all, though I do like landscape/wide environment images. Just be sure to get something interesting poking into the bottom or top of the frame. A war room might be cool, a table(s), or holo display(s), etc...
Shooo, hoping someone will pick up in a set, but.... Go for it. I think the wings could work as a solo item, if no one else is interested in the set. I would prefer doing the textures (or attempting to with lots of guides open), but I'm open to other working arrangements. :)
