Just explore the Edit Poly panel - most of your time will be spent there. As for modifiers : Symmetry Shell Bend FFD Reset XForms Turbosmooth And when it comes to tutorials, check out the old Johan Of Arc one - it is still very relevant. Good luck !
Yeah I did already. I understand how you used a ton of FFD modifiers but how did you match the geometry of the rock to the texture? I tried myself and the UVs deform with the geometry... and I can't find how to lock UVs.
This might be a dumb question guys ... but where do i actually find the equivalents of Max's modifiers in maya .. Things like Shell, FFD, Loft etc etc ... It doesnt seem to have a modifier pallete in the same way that max does... Thanks guys
Awesome! I was just posting on a forum somewhere that I wish they would remake FF6 into a 3D game the way they have been doing with other older FF titles, because the sprites in that game didn't do the artwork justice (because of the limits of the time).
I am using ps7 but i realy cant find any "Brush Dynamics" button, what i see on the top right fof my screen is a tab for the brush properties. Also how do you rotate your brush in ps7 ? :|
1. aligning geometry with buildings made in radiant 2. creating geometry that snaps to a grid so the object's bounds are exactly on that grid when exported to radiant 3. applying an FFD and snapping it to the grid to make an object's bounds rounded to the nearest grid unit.
Team up and do what? :D I was working on a manually made great tree, aka like the Deku Tree or Life Tree in FF9 but it's a lot of work. I think I'll do it properly when the server resets. Hardly anyone seems to play :<
The only things Max really has over Modo are: - Modifier stack. There are times when I really like having it. - FFD modifiers. Nothing like that in Modo. - Spline modeling. Nothing easier for wires and cables. Other than that, I'd rather use Modo.
Are those shots under the same lighting condiditons? One looks overcast and the other looks bright and sunny. And I like 1, but I just like the warmer feel that that image gives me. A much warmer feel. (This is FF7 though...so....not so warm...)
ya, as a former reef tank ownere i thik you realy need to crank the colors on your corals, reefs are known for vibrant colors and now the wholse seen seems muted, its as iff its viewed by someone under water with no swim mask,
