renderhjs - Cheers, sticking to arial now as it looks clean and neutral. Hey, about brown and orange, they're my fave colour combination and being born in the 70's means :poly129: Slingshot - Advice taken :)
That's just completely impossible, sorry. You have to realize that 70% or more of the stuff that makes the shader look good is view-based (changes with camera angle), meaning you just can't bake it down to a texture...
Also figured I'd post this. You can see the array a wee bit more. But more importantly, you see the two cool cats who finished kitbashing this thing in the late 70s early 80s
I'm feeling a 70s vibe for the decoration of the room so after finding a design which felt right I had a go at making it in Substance Designer I'm sure I will come back to it for improvements later.
He's still fairly lacking in detail. Personally I'd be inclined to strip out a good 60-70 percent of the polys you've got in the face now and only add them as they're needed to define the form.

Hey, amazing artists! My progress during the last week. Started to texture big modular pieces, which is 70% of the whole scene. I sculpted the high poly in ZBrush and it was super chill since it's almost all wood and I like to sculpt wood. I will bring the whole scene to the same stage and then work on textures properly,…
rather tricky for me atm. I got some versions flying around that work like 70% of the cases but sometimes they still do funky stuff. I might have another run sometime this year.
Yeah, good call. I think I'll do that. Kind of excited to get started on all this jewelry and get the whole thing at like 70% before I drop a ton of time just working on anatomy.
^or even object properties and -edited below- before freezing your reference and lower that a touch and you can maintain your working object visibility. - using opactiy to 70% lol oopsy. Ancient is the correct term here.
