Some break downs of the assets I made for the Soyuz scene. I also had some time to make a video of the scene moving about with the lighting: https://vimeo.com/370515118
if you upload the maya scene i can take a quick look, however i will only be able to troubleshoot the maya scene, not xnormal, cause i dont have xnomral
Okay new update. I made a landscape surounding the scene. I think it came out pretty nice (going to add houses to) And added some more color to the scene.
I don't think it is monitor settings when the hull of the ship looks pitch black. Most of the scene seems lit realistically, but the dark hull throws off the scene for me.
I have seen this happen before, there are a couple of fixes but the one I remember doing was exporting the meshes as objs or fbx to a new scene and then reimporting or working with that new scene instead.
Thanks for the feedback again. @EverShroud Agree with all above! Next time when I set up my 3D scene will spend extra time on the depth on the scene. :D
2000 intensity is overkill, unless the scale of the scene is huge. Arnold requires always an actual light present in the scene, otherwise it will always render black if you don't create one.
Here is the scene with textures added to the buildings and other assets. Images taken from UDK. What are peoples thoughts and what needs work to make the scene look better Thanks
Finished up a nice new crate for the scene. DIVISION AGENTS ONLY! Eventually I will post a WIP thread for this scene when I get some more of the lighting done.
