This is what i love about Polycount, Everyone involved, your amazing :) If i didn't have exams for the next month, then my first gig at a studio, I'd throw my hat in. All the best to everyone trying out and those hosting this event!
Dell hat a tool called Display Manager which can split the screen using many different layouts. It's possible to switch between display profiles depending on the program you are using, that's quite nice if you want to low saturation in a game for example.
I really like the more stylized concept, I am interested to see what you end up with in 3D. This course hat you guys are doing is so incredible! I can't wait to see the finished results from all of you.
Pretty nice! I wrote a utility similar to this a long time ago, called SuperTrace. It was specifically for the use that you suggested, Pior. This makes me want to whip out my dusty programming hat and actually make my old program useful.
Putzing around in Mudbox. I think I may take this a bit further and turn it into a witch with a big black hat and stuff. Still not sure yet. It's exceedingly hard to find photo references without running into scary porn. The length of the skull is intentional.
Vito got out of the hospital last night with a little cut in his torso. He had his appendix removed after it got grumpy on him. He's at home now with a fistful of drugs to soothe him. Vito is the server admin to the boards, please wish him a speedy recovery... you might even say it with cats.
I was wondering if anyone had any workflows for creating leather/cloth wraps on objects. By this I mean the types of wraps that you see on weapons and baseball bats on the handles. Right now I just model out and tweak the verts spiraling down the shaft of the said object. Is there a better workflow any of you use? Thanks.
seems which server network people need to connect to isn't listed on the chat page information. Maybe i'm missing something from a lack of information. had to harass flaagan to get the server info since I forgot to backup my irc server settings when I reinstalled. http://polycount.com/chat.html
Thanks, that is actual more like what I was going for. I guess I should prolly clarify that this not really meant to be derivative of Twitch as we know him, but more like just what I think he should have looked like. However I do plan to keep come elements of the existing Twitch so as all or most of the cloth will be green…
