Oh they never fail to impress. Always a refreshing watch, if only it were possible to live out a true dream and be able to Fx, model, animate, and post. Also I'm digging the scale picture. I've only played the game so I always imagine the structures/units grossly out of proportion. -

hehe it's ok, you're forgiven. The city of the lost children has been the most expensive movie for some times, due to a lot of fx, and cg (1995!) but i think Delicatessen was more effective, though it was a much cheaper budget. Not really horror though, just glaucous and cynical, as i like :q -

Same can be said for myself. Granted, I ended up teaching myself particle fx and getting a job doing that, but all the 3d work I did outside of class in the school's game design club received soooo much more effort and devotion than my schoolwork ever did. -

Thank you for the feedback and comment! It really helped me a lot on figuring out composition and balance. I have a few more renders in Marmoset Toolbag 4. The texturing is done just need to work on terrain, trees and adding FX to it. How is this so far? Also I'm still working on the lighting. Update: -

I was thinking that as well when I was looking through the real stuff. They were definitely real, but it didn't feel like anyone would believe it to be realistic if it were on my character. The stuff from Nimba FX though fits the bill - that Hollywood effect sells the illusion of gore better than the real life.
