I think the problem lies with the operating system. Windows 8 is still too shitty to run a tablet and get actual work done. It feels like I always have to wrangle it to do what I want.
watched all the gamecom vids. the envios are looking fantastic. especially compared to the first game, huge leap. but idk isnt it supose to come out later this year and they dont have a combat system nailed down yet?
The OP said they didn't want to switch viewports. Another way without switching would be to change the Reference Coordinate System to World instead of View. But that doesn't work in all views (Top, Bottom, I'm looking at you)
Here is a little update on some new WIP 3d models and the locomotion system that is being worked on. Locomotion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrtwIHsgKBo Sculpting a female elf: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfWXz-j7l8Q
You're gonna be a slave to whatever shader system you work with if making a game, so this Maya viewport adjustment is fine, especially considering the fidelity of this character if all you can actually do now is beauty shots.
I'd be totally interested in internship opportunities over the summer. I am taking a proactive method in applying through the Taleo system, but is there a better way to inquire about intern ops? Thank you in advance! Lovely style!
For me, the widget both looks and works the same as always. This is when drawing tools onto the document itself, and not when using transpose on subtools/edit mode. Do you have a screenshot or video of the behavior on your system?
It should be a black and white image, black being the area that's transparent and white being the area that's opaque. In terms of what you're experiencing, could you show me your system specs, Suite version, and PS version?
Hey Gabriel, We do not have an ETA for 3.05 yet but it will be a smaller release than 3.04, so hopefully sooner rather than later. The LOD issue is logged in our system and slated to be fixed for 3.05 as well.
Maybe try setting Ref Coord System = Constant in the Preferences. http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-86205F0D-6143-432A-B0D4-5CCC4DB2699F.htm,topicNumber=d30e584897
