Dekard.. he's simply placed the window in the exact same spot as his drawing screen. He's then just minimizing/maximizing in and out of photoshop and max, so yes its possible with maya.
Looks cool. The textures are nice. Also keep in mind the grenade will be held in a hand for 95% of the time it's on screen, which will help hide the silhouette if you wanted to knock off a few polys.
Small suggestion for the people posting their Artstations, probably should include a screen shot of how your portfolio currently looks, just in case you update it and students are looking at this thread in a year or two.
@birb Looked arround a bit more but couldn't find a solution, so i deleted all the blender stuff from the Blender Foundation folder and its opening on my primary screen again. Thanks for the suggestions!
Bpr render 1. Why does it have a grey tint to it around the shadows. Also how do i properly size it to fit the screen so people can see a close up image of the model
Yes I am, Temporal AA, a little bit of AO, Screen space reflection, Bloom and some eye adaption. I'll see what I can do with the coloring to make it more interesting to look at.
Texturing @_@ Screen-grab from substance painter. Base materials so far. This will not be easy... Armors in the concept don't really appear... reflective, though. Looks like dull metal or painted, or grinded on, or hammered, or something.
ah buuuuuuuuuuuut. my current system is not currently capable of duel screen. I find this quite limiting. so would just grabbing the cheapest PCI-E graphics card be your advice? along with a SSD?
Well I'm pretty much done with this for now, I might throw a few more renders up but it would be good to draw a line under this. More screens and stuff here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/n8WwX
that was fun :D 2nd attempt: finally on my 3rd attempt i ended up just dragging the image around the screen :p here's probably my 15th attempt at a sculpt XD many redos
