Attachment not found. I'm working on a title screen for a game, and so I've created this so far. The picture is inspired by the justice league cartoons opening. It needs an epic feel, and so I'm hoping for some critique :poly121:.
Did a test turnaround ANIMATION of the scene with some audio, here is the vimeo video: I will be at first joining the Arstation Challenge that is going on, and Epic Megajam in coming days, so I might finish this after I'm done with those two.
Sorry, I don't want to be rude or anything but i thought that that's how you actually do it :D . Epic does that for their models, same thing for adding detail with normal maps.
Well my friend this is epic ! I really love it and love the way how you shaped the rocks and combined with a little bit of flora. Awesome work on modelling technique for rocks.
also work with jonatan and erik and i agree about UVDeluxe, it really simplifies a lot of things that are really tedious and unnecessary. Just smooths out the uv worflow. good stuff
Breakdowns, wireframes and workflow I want to know it all. Seriously impressed by this. Would also like to know how you made the tires on the high-poly. Epic shit dude!
That's already an epic scene and a solid start! Definitely refine the assets and finalize it all and your good to go. Perhaps add a little more contrast between the dark and the light areas?
Is the artifact baked into the normal or diffuse maps? If not, try turning off "import tangents" when you import the mesh. I know epic says otherwise, but it ruins mirrored normals.
