Do you know how to use the material editor? Go find out how to put a material across the whole screen (postprocess material) and how to read the depth at a pixel (destdepth).
The light source is from within the forge. Once the video gets posted you'll see the flames. These are just screen grabs out of the UDK. I actually didn't notice that lol thanks!
Does the screen still give you that annoying ripple effect when you push down with the pen. I bought a surface pro 3 for drawing and sculpting and it was pretty much useless.
With the optics in VR headsets your eyes adjust into a relaxed focus state, in theory it should be better for your eyes than staring at a screen. Example answer from the FAQ for the Oculus Rift:
It really depends on how far I pull the tessellation factor and how far into the distance. In the latest screen-shot it's stable above 60fps, though it's above 100fps with more reasonable settings.
Nice catch! Here is screen shot from substance painter. I added the inconsistency with the paint. I'll definitely noodle it some more to get it to look more like paint. Thanks!
