After some thought I decided to adapt to Modo's default navigation style (with exeption of the 3d trackball rotation). It does feel unintuitive at the moment and it will give some transition hickups with 3DSMax, which I still use, but I feel it will be worth it in the future. Thanks guys :)
On the other hand, when he oversells the game on Kickstarter, it leads to people being less willing to support future developers on it. Its worse when its a well known developer doing it. So from that POV, Peter fucked us all over, not just backers.
Oh, that is very useful advice. I have trees, bushes and stones on separate layers and that front rock too. ... Tried this :/ my map seems to be not so compliant for moving its elements. Thank you @EricElwell I will use understanding of this isometric fundamental in the future progress.
