Great job getting those edges nice and smooth! Could maybe use a few more edge loops to make the lowploy to feel a little more rounded on the shell, but still it's a very effective model.
that looks nice, but those edges will only look good in offlline. For baking they are too hard , some are even very hard for lifelike edges. Dont forget the scale and how it is viewed and the constraints of realtime of course
Hey, some of the edges might be a little too harsh on the highpoly to bake as well as you would like. Maybe relax the edge control on them a little bit. Nice model apart from that though :)
Looking good! You could perhaps soften that long, thin sharp edge down below, break it up a bit, and give some disturbance to the straight edges generally with the move tool or something similar.
There's something about a sheet that's edge-to-edge full of sketch studies that makes me all tingly inside. I like your style - very nice and gestural. Your animals, in particular, are brilliantly done!
Add some supporting edges on the low poly. currently the averaged cage is pulling the details out towards the places where 2 differently angled edges meet. Hope I got that right ;p
You want to get rid of the edges that create that triangle. Your indents edges are so sharp though you would be better off just floating those indents. Save your self the trouble.
Have been struggeling with edge control especially with hard edges. tried out lasso tool today and im soooo gonna start incorporating it into my workflow day 154 2 uninspired quickies
You can collapse your excessive edge loops without changing the silhouette that much; ask yourself if these edge loops do anything at all. I also see a few ngons on the tail wing.
