They are. No room for a hammer with how far back the mag loads. Might revise and just copy a P99 or something

Overall it looks good, but the shape is just weird. I think the hammer needs a little more detail

yeah just keep hammering them in - more observation and anatomy from books (like Loomis and Bridgman)
