It is look good it will be nice to see the progress, it sort of remind me of the Mirelurks from fallout 4. I have been to your website and wow you produce some great work so am looking forward to this.
A ream of grid paper is also invaluable. As for old school games to look at for design inspiration; I would look at the old isometric rpgs (Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Fallout 2?, probably a whole slew of these I'm forgetting...)
heres some stuff from my sketchbook, some old, some new : a french clown!! ITS A ME!! a fish in a mech suit or something straight from fallout/mad max: this is frank zappa and he is riding a tyrannosaurus
Pfft...cats. These German dogs make the best art pets....though sadly one did chew up my fallout 3 bobble head figurine. Sadness. Anyways meet Dojo Von Jagerheimen and Mochi Von Hagen Daz.
This is what has been said on their official twitter: https://twitter.com/22Cans/status/378954011858440192 Two things are probably true though: the pr fallout made them reconsider the gemshop for the pc version AND: the mobile version will most likely have a gemshop.
Hello. I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to 3D modelling. I make mods for Bethesda games (TES & Fallout). I'm looking to improve my skills so joining a community like Polycount seems like a good idea.
That was definitely one of the inspirations. BOTs also received influence from Bioshock, Fallout 3, World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, and Little Big Planet. To see more about the design choices behind BOTs, check out its HISTORY
I still wouldn't get games like Fallout 3 or Oblivion for consoles, that game needs mods. And what about Diablo III and Starcraft II? And also is it just me or do games like TF2 survive better on PC's for multiplayer?
average week: 0-1 hours. when i get something i can sink my teeth into it jumps to 10-12 hours. last games for me in that vein were fallout 3, mass effect, lost odyssey, and bioshock.
So back at the start of February AD went subscription-only (except for the suites, but that's coming in a few months too). Whats the fallout been like so far? Anyone switched, or seriously considering switching, 3D apps as a result?
