Hey guys, So ive been working on the game for around 1.5+ years so far and we are now on a point where it is somewhat presentable. The game is a unforgiving dungeon crawler or rogue-like shooter, everything is very powerful and the machines are relentless. Autocannon turrets rip you to shreds if you get hit, dodge mortars…
It's also worth mentioning the color ID changes show in 3DO but simply don't take any new smart materials / standard materials yet when I check the ID map in Photoshop itself it shows the out of date one. I've reloaded SUITE several times to no avail.
I've just take some screenshots: I have to say that the weapons in this game are IMO by far the best i've ever seen! The animation (pick-up, reload, ecc...) are absolutely beautiful too. Incredible work. What other weapons models did you do in Crysis 3?
Another web prob: Also when you hot link images on game artisans they repeatedly continue to reload rendering me unable to view your threads using opera. You two are da man/women love the work she's a beauty. Sexy designing both of you!
haha maestro... Sorry about misspelling geeze dunno how i managed to miss that :D yes there is function to it's form, re-loader is beneath like a shotgun you pull it back to reload, and the clips is fastened underneath. So it does work I guess... ;D atleast it will in the future!!!
Hi all, I'm sculpting my mesh in zbrush. but the mesh just turned brighter after I used projection master...I used a default red wax material on it. and it showed up brighter than it should be. I didn't fill any color or texture to the mesh. I tried to reload and restart zbrush, and it still appears like this... is there…
Agree with these assessments. If the programmer can't give you an engine to work with, you're screwed. Content depends on gameplay. Style depends on material and render limits. I'd suggest using another engine to prototype, then reload all the content in your custom engine once it's ready. Unreal or Unity are good choices…
I agree that the rocket needs more segments, but if its for FPS consumption Snader, it might not be neccesary at all, due to it being so far away. But with reloading animations etc. to be considered, more segments might be the smarter choice anyway. Can we get an FPS shot with the rocket in the launcher KartoonHead?
zOffTy thanks a ton for that, always wondered how to do it. now if I could only get my quad menu to stay as my default quad instead of having to reload it every time I start max we would be in business. Anyone know how to do that by any chance?
nice modeling. I agree your main problems are in design and not execution. I would think about recoil, targeting, and reloading. Right now its not obvious to me how it would work and looks more like a giant sensor of some sort, then a missile turret. Slick modeling though :)
