the face is butt ugly,- it looks like a male anime villain using transvestite makeup make the chin smaler, the makeup less agressive and place the eyes more in the middle of the face if you want 'her' to be more feminine
Holy cow! The girl's face is the best, i agree w/ pogonip her lips are a bit too glossy, and i think the lower half of her face (mostly chin area) looks pale. Awesome man!
Spent some time on the face while doing retopo' on the body. Texturing soon! Any crit on the face at this point will be gold. I see it's not quite there but I'm not sure why yet. I have a feeling it might be painfully obvious too :p
The silhouette for the amount of polygons u are using is very blob like. you also have alot of polys in the feet which could be taken out. In general, the face isnt too bad, but the topology on the face seems a little all over the place.
Updating with some face topology So far I've remade the whole face, making her more ehm "feminine". I've added lashes, teeths and a tounge. The rest of the body is yet to be finished, I'll do that as soon as I get the time.
Are you using any reference when doing these. If not i really suggest you do. The proportions of the face are pretty off. Ears should stick out some. The face is really flat, and should be a bit deeper, the skull is a bit small as well.
My impression from what you've posted: Run far, run fast. But if you're still curious and want to be sure, try to get more details from them, ideally face-to-face, before you commit any time to this 'test'.
find some basic uv videos for sure. Cylinder project the outside of the Cylinder, project the faces facing upwards in the Y. Should be mostly good. Still check for distortion, but if it's minimal and you're painting in something like 3DCoat, then you should be fine.
Some moar... working on a Maori character design: Getting basic head structure: Hairstyle variations: Face tattoo variations: Costume design variations: 1st attempt at modelling (before watching face anatomy sculpting tutorials) Actually getting the hang of it:
Collision solved. I was grouping the separate pieces together instead of attaching as on mesh. Now I still have the issue of those front faces not showing the geo. It looks all weird and warbly. In unlit mode it just has a flat face.
