Totally depends on the game engine. Where are you rendering this model? Also depends on the use in-game. If this is a first-person weapon, the sight is not what you look through when you are in "zoom" viewing mode; instead that's a different specific HUD, usually all 2D.
Currently working on a character based on a concept by Nitro on Artstation https://lnkd.in/dBrVurf I've gotten the highpoly of Girl01 where I want it and just working on the weapons now
Haha! Thanks. I just posted this second on your weapon. :) Cloth was done in Painter. After 15 years modeling in Max I'm really enjoying Blender's workflow.
FInally got the chance to work on this guy again. Here's a turnaround of his low poly with normal and ao bakes. I'm going to move on to his weapon, and then start texturing! :)
https://youtu.be/7U34qYGswKE A hammer animation sequence I did to practice weight and anticipation for the first time. This was inspired by the Monster Hunter World's hammer weapon attack combo.
it looks indented on the gun, but ive seen it on other weapons for sure, im working on a handgun and it has indented text and i want to make an excellent high poly of the gun
It's finished. I considered doing the gun, but I didn't believe it was vital to the character to have the weapon finished, so I mocked up a stand-in. Crits and Comments appreciated.
Started with some colors on polypaint in zbrush. I want to make some parts of the weapon glow red from heat inside. Will need to balance things out for sure.
Here is my highpoly for the weapon ! My low poly is almost done just the eagle thing to model and all the uv to do but hope to have a normal map for tomorrow !
