Thank you for your replys everyone! Brian forsure the temple area was something that stood out to me aswell. Features I'm sure almost all need tweeking, they were slightly altered to match proportion maps too. Thank you very much for going through key area's I'll look them over. Thanks final I'll check that out. Thanks…
You'll end up with two maps one will have good ends the other will have good sides. It's really just a matter of layering them on top of each other in Photoshop then erasing out the bad parts from the top layer. On more organic shapes it can be better to just push the cage outward evenly just enough so that it encompasses…
impressive! Those skin details look excellent. Though something feels strange about the way the face is 100% frontal and symmetrical while body isn't. Did you perhaps start with a face and add the body later?
Nice lines! I prefer the second one too actually, it looks more interesting to have his face showing to me. I suppose it's because without the face there doesnt seem to be a similarly attractive point of interest.
Sorry! Fixed the video Actually the skinning is fine Andrew, its something with the viewport rendering where internal faces appear before external faces when textures are on, but its fine once it renders with mr or maya software.
Hey King, Thank you for the feedback; much appreciated! There is definitely some weirdness going on the face I need to attend to. I think I will spend some time revisiting the face again. Thanks again, -joe
assuming youre using max, i used to use the modifier "extrude" directly on the spine and deleted the cap faces, and then redid the cap faces manualy i also recomend only doing the half and then symmetry the other half
Hi. I just sent model to photoshop by Zapplink and cover face with usual front photo. As i did much tweaks before, photo nice fited on that face. so its photo without any editing.
We use rough scanned data for the pores of the face. But rest is sculpted. We also begin textures with a scanned layer, for the faces. As for the clothes, it's done with Marvelous and zbrush. The main shapes are made in Marvelous, and the detaling and refining in Zbrush.
