Can you mark out on the planar model where the bony landmarks are, and spin that as part of the assignment of learning how to sculpt with Zbrush? Spending time on understanding what is causing certain planar changes may help you to subconscously sculpt other busts in the future.
Thank you everyone for the help! I will start with learning, and im not sure if i will need help or not. I will most likey start off with something smaller and work my way to something like this for the future. I am also trying to get beter at drawing.
Maybe the tutorial glossed over a step or maybe you just missed it? Either way, the important part is that you learn and understand the process. Hopefully now you have a better idea now of how to handle cutting UVs for things you make in the future. :)
General Discussion is not the right place to post tutorials like this. I'm moving this to 3D Showcase. This is not a big deal, just be aware of where to post in the future, check the forum descriptions. You also double posted in both GD and 3D, so I removed the repost.
Sure. There are games made as learning projects. There are games where the requirements are very different from what any existing engine supports (e.g. Minecraft). And there are games where the engine and the game are developed in tandem, though there's normally the expectation that future projects will reuse the same…
@Hoopla! Thanks man, I think the fan has gotten the most praise so far @n88tr I'm just an environment guy, just focusing on that. Wouldn't want any potential future employers to get the wrong idea of what I'm good at and going for.
Ah yeah it's about 15 euro's cheaper (converted of course). But on the other hand i get 8x the storage size and 8x the traffic size. I'll see what i will do when i need one. Thanks anyways i'll save it for the future :) .
Good day, The reason for not including any rear sites is because I'm going to use this model as a base model to create variants from. Also the reason for the minimal ware and tear, future models with different sites, attachments, etc will have more ware and tear.
loving almost everything about the update !! the valve contest is killing me :D and yay for the headers finally linking to the according sites :D but i gotta admit that the forum style is pretty hard to read :o will there be some "old skin"-option available in the future ?
Here's a WIP of Nidalee from League of legends I did today. Spent a lot of time tweaking this to get it looking even close to right. Turns out female faces are kinda difficult for me so I'll definitely be doing more of those in the future.
