I have an old script that works well for this. With an object selected it will refresh all materials assigned to that object. With nothing selected it'll refresh all materials. I have it assigned to a hotkey. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1889770/alexxUpdateFileTextures.mel
I hope you say that in jest... The price tag IS cheap. For $10 a month you can get a $1800 piece of software with the least amount of restrictions compared to say Maya LT. In fact the restrictions are very competitive, you could pay $10 a month or have a $299 perpetual license. Thats a great deal for professional grade…
Hey just out of curiosity how difficult is lining up and art test? I will probably have to be looking for a job when I turn 18ish in a few years so I'm definitely curious. Also awesome work!

Hey Nielsen I took a look at the effect. I sent you back my edits so you can see them yourself. Everything youve done looks correct to me. There are some strange things going on, not sure if its a bug with cascade/udk or Im using the modules incorrectly but here are some of the things Ive noticed. First, if your…
I figured it out after many more hours of kadoodling with it. In Maya I didn't smooth the normals correctly which I think was throwing the normal map off. Instead of using "smooth edges" I had to set the normal angle to 180 degrees on all the faces (which is the exact same thing, but oh well), then re-exported the FBX.…
it amazes me how the order 1886/bloodborne's locked 30fps doesn't bother me at all but I got to have competitive pc shooters running at above 60 fps at all times. why is that e: Has anybody tried taking input at a higher rate than the rendering because maybe that would help alleviate some of the perceived delay
