yeah i didnt do a high poly zbrush/mudbox model, just used crazy bump and max for some of the normal maps. The scult programs are something im going to be practicing with new work.
Ok good. Couldn't really tell from your posts. Keep it up then! Also take a look at these: http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-theory http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-practice
die in a sunlight induced fire. We have big windows here so its not bad I worked outside once on my laptop hated it sunglare was colossal It's nice just not very practical.
i was trying to keep close to the concept but i would never steal anything. This is just a practice model and if i stole i wouldn't make myself any better. thanks for the back up McBride.
Dumping the work I've doing lately here to keep the record. The actual model for the Threedy's new competition: Animal Warrior The male basemesh for practice and future re-using: And a female one for the same purpose:
Thanks for the tips. Well They arent really intended for games right now. The last one is a game practice. The others were early models of mine but IM going to reduce the poly count for game compatability.
heh, from my experience AOL practically condones spamming anyway. How many tonnes of goddamn plastic have those guys put through my letterbox and in my magazines over the years..
This was an old sketch that I finally completed in 3D. More practice at hand painted textures. Here is a high poly render and the low poly final render. The higher res images can be seem here.
I thought the exact same thing! There was a particular part right before the climax/third act where I could practically imagine a little note popping up in the corner saying "New Objective!"
I'd love to have a try at texturing it! I'm practicing texturing, and trying to find all the SDKs I can. A showroom (or even better, a racing game!) full of customized scion bricks would be great!
