I had this problem with my intuos 3, and like all problems with both tablets I've owned, the solution was 2-3 hours of randomly plugging/unplugging tablet, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling tablet software, uninstalling drivers, etc. Always a nightmare when the tablet isn't behaving. I blame windows. -

Haha, if you think those Gallant tabletops are bad, you should see my setup before I moved... I just got those cheapo "build your own table and legs" and gave myself about 9 feet of workspace straight along the wall of our office room, it was the greatest desk ever. A little too good... I don't think the modbook pro is available yet - just pre-orders. The first one that was based off the old macbooks looked pretty good as a tablet pc - 512 levels of pressure, which is more than any other tablet pc I think. No you wont need it. I have an Intuos 4 M in school and a smaler Bamboo tablet at home, it works just fine.
