Were guessing that the polycount forum probably has lots of experienced artists who want a bit more than just standard tree models, so we thought we'd show how easy it is to generate customized trees in Forester Pro. These can be exported as collada, fbx or X files and so, if you really want, you can continue to tweak in…
Superb, the only thing I don't like is the relative mushiness of that big tree trunk. Also, would be cool if there was a way to achieve in UE4 what was called 'Cap opacity fall off' in CE3's vegetation shader. That would help with the tree crowns a little.
Thanks guys. Shrew81: Yeah the crowd was weak for sure. I was working on a crowd system that would use animations based off a modular crowd system model but it never got implemented and then things went south on the job so never got a chance to fully develop it. The field lines are indeed super crisp and was also something…

From the visionary minds that brought us Velociraptor Safari, the crowning achievement of the video game industry comes... JETPACK BRONTOSAURUS It looks entertaining. Looks to be using softbody phys as well. Also, this seems as though it could dethrone my favorite indy game, simply because it involves a brontosaurus and a…
Won't they just look like asset flips? I'm not talking from experience or whatever here, but I feel like art directors or whatever they call that kind of thing from studio to studio or team to team, are probably very fitting into that phrase about "if you do it right, they won't notice you did anything". If you don't have…
Thanks for the advice, I tweaked a little bit as in your example! Here are some of the latest wips, I almost ready to unwrap, just have to decide how I am going to the crown/branches and if I am going to put any bushes/grass in the scene.
This looks great, i really think you've made full use of your trimsheets. The benches and wood furniture were also made with the use of trimsheets? My only critique, is that this reminds me more of a roman house than greek. Specially with that purple color banners with the V and olive crown.
Able to start and make progress on this now :) Made her crown with some booleans Then I made a blockout of her body and I have started to get more scales in. I began by using a scales brush but found just placing them gave me much nicer result. WIP
We are talking about her, so she did a great job either way : P Well maybe not the crown, but certainly the best today and she got some laughs, what more do you want ? People seemed to either like or dislike her but not much in between tho
