Well gfur is using a shell system which is similar in a way to cards. It is performance expensive though, but the rigging/dynamics/secondary motion is for free. Your Tiger turned out well and looks convincing.
Grooming I'm not sure as I haven't tried, but I found this and thought it was possible: 'XGen Arbitrary Primitive Generator is the system used for hair in both Disneys Zootopia and Pixars Toy Story 3'
The idea sounds great, coop is always a win in my book ;) Also, the possibility to swap between characters sounds awesome. As does the revive system. Visually, the game looks great and really varied.
NYC is done to death in games plus Boston has skyscrapers and a subway system, so you're covered there. NYC is just way too big to have the fallout experience, it would be all city.
Imported the planes, worked better than I thought. Gonna have some moss and sand variation on top. Now I want schools of fish everywhere, should be doable with the particle system.
Copy/Paste seems to be broken on Mac. Gets this error: Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/mayaLT2016/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/startup/cutCopyPaste.mel line 49: The "system" command is not supported by Maya LT. //
Check out the getting started tutorial, it goes over the basics on the new lighting system (which is a lot more flexible than the old one): http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/getting-started
This is the third time it's been reported to us in about two years. I'd need some additional information in order to help diagnose what's causing it. Your system specifications, a video of it in action, etc.
mass transit systems are always good, like a superconductor tramway either street level or elevated. Lots of excuses for clutter then - pylons and other tech gubbins, waiting shelters, info boards etc
Aren't you simply looking for "parent" coordinate system ? (top listbox) Subobject will get the object pivot. edit : holly cow, didn't notice the date. Well i let that here anyway.
