Started throwing together another environment. We'll see where this takes me... Thanks Oliver. Characters aren't exactly my strongest skill but I try to do them every so often. I'll be sure to practice doing some portraits in the future...
It's finished! So glad they have added the wing animation support in the next patch in the importer for anyone who works on Puck in the future. Having to start up an in game server just to test them everytime can get annoying. Nether Sprite - Scuba Cat!
Might be worth having a look through this thread. Seems like he's only released a handful of his UE4 matcaps so far but I think he's planning on releasing the lot in the future: https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?13501-Matcaps-for-UE4&highlight=matcap
Thanks for this, its stuff like this that has taught me the most over the years, just that small part on making rivets I found awesome keep up the fantastic work, you are creating waves which are shattering through the universe influencing the future for the better.
Looks pretty cool! Reminds me of the scientist from "Back to the Future". Where his tie goes into his collar looks wrong. Too thin. Also the edges of his coat collar aren't straight enough. That section in a coat is usually a bit stiff.
@GravityBwlast thanks man, i look forward to see also your model inspired to Back to the Future :) @jonjon yeah i already follow Noodle Li, he's amazing, but that for the link anyway, i might actually use his works for more inspiration :)
STLCheck= no errors Attaching box then deleting polygons = doesnt work Its almost like you cant urbosmooth a imported model :/ I could just model the scope again but i kinda would like to fix this so i know for future reference.
I plan to do a cinematic res where i do a texture pass of it soon :D So i'll definitely be tested on accuracy of the colors and textures when i get to that. I'll definitely work on doing more with my watermarks in the future! Thanks a lot!
Decided to start building a female basemesh I can reuse later on. Right now mostly trying to get proportions right, a lot of the anatomy/muscles is not properly blocked in yet. As I want to reuse this for future projects I would be really thankfull for feedback :)
Thanks for comments. I will step back from this project for a while to gain some objective point of view, when I'll back and revise it in a near future (hopefully). This gun in fact was step back from bigger project in the middle of which I'm right now.
