Pretty much done with the polypainting stage, the texture will be improved in photoshop. Decided to keep her blonde. Next step will be retoping for the low poly. Shaded / Flat
thanks. i been wanting to learn Mari but the conventional trials are too short. this is a very smart step by Foundry and will definitely increase your user base.
The normals on the foundation, steps, and plaster walls is way too strong. They look severely worn and damaged, yet the structure of the house still looks relatively good.
Update: Working on the diffuse map now, pretty much finished with the normal map. Next Step is the Specular and shield diffuse. Looking for some crit on the color :)
many thanks for the tips :) i tried to change the stuff on the skin as described and added eyes. the clothing is now the next step . (collecting reference pictures now )
Update! Changed up the composition, fixed the colors, and tweaked some of the anatomy. Next step is getting the details on her outfit and adjusting the foreshortening on her arms.
